(Correspondent Wang hao)In order to consolidate and expand the important achievements formed through the learning and education campaign for establishing and practicing a correct view of political achievements, the Party Committee of the School of Foreign Languages held a summary meeting on the learning and education campaign in Conference Room 308 of the Liberal Arts Building on the afternoon of September 6. Members of the school leadership team, members of the two committees, and organizational personnel attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Wang Huoli, Secretary of the Party Committee of the school.
Wang Huoli summarized the school Party Committee’s learning and education campaign for establishing and practicing a correct view of political achievements, focusing on three aspects: the main practices and results of the learning and education, insights from the activities carried out, existing problems and next steps.
He put forward four opinions on consolidating and expanding the results of the learning and education and striving to strengthen the school’s Party building work.
First, strengthen the analysis and summary of the learning and education. All grassroots Party branches should promptly analyze and summarize the implementation of the learning and education, focus on the effective implementation of rectification work for identified problems, simultaneously promote the establishment of long-term mechanisms, and strive to consolidate and expand the results of the learning and education.
Second, strengthen the effective construction of working mechanisms. In response to the problems identified through the learning and education, fundamental solutions should be pursued from the perspective of working mechanisms, avoiding a piecemeal approach of “treating only the symptoms rather than the root causes”, solidify effective measures for problem-solving into scientific working systems, and improve the capacity and level of running the school in accordance with laws and regulations.
Third, strengthen the mutual integration and mutual promotion of Party building and professional work. Fully focus on promoting development through Party building, align with the four requirements of establishing and practicing a correct view of political achievements regarding building the Party for the public, benefiting the people, scientific decision-making, and genuine hard work, strive to promote the deep integration of grassroots Party building and school governance and operation, and effectively lead high-quality development with high-quality Party building.
Fourth, strengthen the effective implementation of integrity building. Coordinate the advancement of integrity building and teacher ethics building, treat them as key tasks of grassroots Party building and handle them strictly and solidly, strengthen normalized education and guidance, prevent and resolve risks and hidden dangers, highlight the focus of supervision work, persist in addressing problems early and preventing them from growing, and strive to promote the effective implementation of Party conduct and integrity building.
At the meeting, Ding Chunyi, Deputy Secretary of the school Party Committee, conveyed and studied the spirit of important superior meetings and documents, and Yang Zhi, member of the school Party Committee and vice dean, conveyed and studied the spirit of the school’s summary meeting on the learning and education campaign.
All Party branch secretaries of the school attended the meeting.
