(Correspondent: Yang Ying) In order to precisely build a platform for matching talent supply and demand, and to fully promote high-quality and sufficient employment for graduates. On the afternoon of April 16, the 2026 Special Job Fair of the School of Foreign Languages of Wuhan Institute of Technology was successfully held at the Mechanical and Electrical Plaza of the Liufang Campus. With strong support and guidance from the Admissions and Employment Office, and with great attention from the school leadership, the school coordinated efforts from multiple parties and ultimately invited 22 high-quality enterprises to participate, offering nearly 100 positions highly matching the majors of the School of Foreign Languages, covering directions such as foreign trade, education and training, translation, and foreign-related services.

Leaders and teachers from the Admissions and Employment Office, the Graduate Work Department, and the School of Foreign Languages came to the job fair site, visited various enterprise booths, and had in-depth exchanges with enterprise representatives, expressing sincere gratitude for the long-term support of all units, and gaining a detailed understanding of industry development trends, changes in demand for foreign language talents, and opinions and suggestions on school talent cultivation and school-enterprise cooperation.

The job fair site was orderly and lively. Counselors and class advisors of the school accompanied and guided students throughout the process, leading students to actively communicate with enterprises. Graduating students brought their resumes to various booths to learn about job information, career development, and benefits. Lower-grade students also came to inquire and learn, examining their own shortcomings against job competency requirements, and reasonably adjusting their academic arrangements and future development plans. A resume clinic was also set up on site to help students optimize their resume content, highlight their personal strengths, and enhance their job-seeking competitiveness.

This job fair is an important measure for the School of Foreign Languages to base itself on professional characteristics, integrate high-quality social resources, and implement the effectiveness of employment education. In the future, the school will continue to focus on the actual needs of graduates, continuously deepen school-enterprise cooperation, and continuously expand the employment market, helping students of the School of Foreign Languages to move forward steadily and blossom in their new journey in life with more solid measures and higher-quality platforms.
